Family history introduction essay

Family history helps to keep memories alive and allow each generation to have an idea of who they are and where they come from. It helps to provide meaningful connections to our ancestors. Old photos, letters, and journals give us a glimpse into what our ancestors were really like.

Although the Family History Narrative was my first assignment and an assignment I grew an attachment to, I felt that this assignment was meant to be told as a story rather than a written assignment. The oral report allowed me to convey my thought as well as the story behind it.
